It was to answer this question that Rust-Oleum® sought and formed a partnership with Ouzzi.
Strategic Shift
In 2024, the Mercosur operational centralization began to be in Brazil.
With that, the brand felt the need for a campaign that showcased attributes that are the face of Brazilians: personality, reinvention, creativity, and hands-on approach to unleash imagination.
A Big Challenge
Our biggest challenge was addressing a culture that is not yet consolidated in Brazil: do it yourself. And our main goal was to show that Rust-Oleum® is not just a simple paint and primer brand, but a brand that combines practicality, usability, and technology with a focus on performance, among many other advantages never seen in the country that set it apart in the market.
Conquering Territory
Rust-Oleum® has been in Brazil for a short time but is already actively expanding, with a keen interest in becoming a favorite brand among Brazilians, as it is in the United States. With this in mind, we devised strategies and aligned international positioning with national habits to have greater appeal with Brazilian consumers.
The product as the protagonist
Even those who have never had the chance to make a repair will find it easy to use Rust-Oleum®! And is there anything that Brazilians like more than simplicity in solving their everyday problems? For these reasons and more, the brand's appeal has come to be the ability and efficiency in delivering results, giving customers the autonomy to make their applications with professional finishing without needing a professional, with ease, practicality, agility, and economy.
